by Cardinal
Category:  Board Games
Genre:  Family Board Game
Year:  1990
2-4 Players
20 Min Playing Time
Ages:  10+

  • DESCRIPTION:
Be the player (Homer, Marge, Bart or Lisa) to get all five items on their Agenda Card checked off and back to HOME first, or get all Twelve Donuts and ignore your Agenda Card.

Game has a nice Board, with an outer Area with four 'inner' paths to travel as well. The Springfield Shopping Mall caters to Marge's Agenda, while the Springfield School is more for Bart and Lisa and of course Homer's path has the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

Gameplay is simple.... roll and move, try to land on special spaces to accomplish goals. Get Grocery Chits for Marge or roll to see how many hours Bart goofed off or Homer spent at work. Or, skip the Agenda and just try to beg/borrow/steal or; gasp, buy all the donuts!

Components are thin; the cards and chits are no more than double paper thin, and the money is paper. The Artwork is Grade A Simpson, and liberally applied all over! The game is 1990 so the artwork is less refined First Season Simpsons. The playing pieces are ok, cardboard stand-ups with plastic bases.
